Auburn Kiwanis Club's Store Is Open!

Kiwanis member Bob Tutton displays boxes of See’s Candies Friday at the club’s new sales location, 13412 Lincoln Way, next to Raley's supermarket in Auburn. Candy sales are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Dec. 24. The club is also accepting donations for See’s For Soldiers, sending boxes of the candy to troops overseas. Proceeds from the yearly fundraiser benefit the Auburn Education Foundation, Salvation Army, the Kiwanis Family House and numerous other community organizations.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, milk chocolate See’s Candies wrapped in turkey foil are available through the Kiwanis Club as well.

The 2010 Season Is Kicking Off!

Not only do we have the ten Kiwanis locations we had last year, but we have added the Sutter Buttes Canine Rescue in Yuba City and we are waiting on several Kiwanis Clubs who want to participate in Southern California! Yay! People gather to participate in worthwhile activities!

Scroll down through the blog for more information and a little fun, too. If you participate and have a story or some pictures, e-mail me (Kdpartak@yahoo.com) and I will put them on the blog. Let's get this season of See's Candy off to a sweet start!
